Gala & Auction raises a record $288,000!

Bethesda Project’s 15th Annual Gala & Auction was a rousing success this year!  The Phillies again generously hosted the event at their Diamond Club at Citizens Bank Park on May 1.  Over 330 Bethesda Project supporters attended and bid on live and silent auction items.

Joseph F. Coradino, newly promoted CEO of PREIT, served as honorary chair and brought in a record number of new sponsors.  At the Gala, Bethesda Project Executive Director Domenic Rossi presented him with a traditional “Bethesda medal” for his service and generosity.  SNL alum Joe Piscopo emceed, and Flyers hall-of-famer Bernie Parent also attended, making generous donations to the live and silent auctions.

Many thanks to the generous sponsors, auction item donors, bidders, volunteers, and staff members who make this event possible.  Because every dollar raised goes directly to support Bethesda Project’s general operating expenses, the Gala is a crucial part of the organization’s success serving homeless and formerly homeless men and women.  Thank you!
