Volunteering at Bethesda
|
Bethesda Project was born on the backs of volunteers twenty years ago as members from the Body of Christ Prayer Group opened their hearts to chronically mentally ill women in Center City Philadelphia. Since then, Bethesda Project has depended on the love and commitment of volunteers to make our houses into homes.
As Bethesda Project has grown over the past twenty-five years, we have prided ourselves on the work of volunteers. Volunteers prepare meals, visit with residents, take residents shopping and to doctor's appointments, read to residents and help to validate their life experiences.
