GRANT FROM LINCOLN FINANCIAL FOUNDATION

The funding will be used to support training to improve staff effectiveness

Philadelphia, PA, 05/29/2018 – Bethesda Project has received a $30,000 grant from Lincoln Financial Foundation to provide training that will improve staff effectiveness at shelter and housing sites. These trainings will include professional development opportunities along with workshops to keep staff up to date in their knowledge of best practices within their respective fields.  This funding will allow Bethesda Project to continue its critical work in the city of Philadelphia by enhancing the services it provides to thousands of individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. Bethesda Project takes pride in its services and, thanks to the generosity of funders like Lincoln Financial Foundation, this work will not only continue, but will grow exponentially.

Lincoln Financial Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Lincoln Financial Group, believes in empowering people to live greater lives, which advances culture and empowers greater positive change. Its grant is part of Lincoln Financial’s annual $10 million investment in its local communities’ youth education, economic and workforce development, human well-being and arts programs.
