Bethesda Project now hosts bi-weekly Lunch and Learn sessions for our volunteers to explore how Bethesda Project incorporates our mission and values in each facet of our organization’s operations. Through this, we seek to provide a space for volunteers to engage with Bethesda Project during the pandemic as well as provide background information to enhance their volunteer experience and create new ways they can further our mission and reach into the community.
This week’s topic will focus on restorative justice and community-based decision making. Join us to learn more about how Bethesda Project’s Church Shelter Program upholds human dignity by practicing restorative justice and other human rights measures. This session - led by Case Management staff Andrew Huff and Lauren Johnson - will include an interactive discussion of how to adapt these practices to a changing environment.
