Come join Bethesda Project's Young Professionals Advisory Board (YPAB) for an evening of festive crafts and tasty drafts to benefit Bethesda Project!
Carving Change is a fun-filled socially distant happy hour (complete with jack o' lantern carving!) hosted by the YPAB where all proceeds benefit the important work done by Bethesda Project, a Philadelphia nonprofit that has been working for individuals experiencing homelessness since 1979 by providing case management, shelter, and permanent housing.
This year, Carving Change will be an outdoor event using social distancing precautions. With plenty of space at Love City Brewing's beer garden, you can enjoy the event at a distance! Each Carving Change guest is entitled to one drink ticket, fun Bethesda Project swag (including a tote bag!) and a mess-free, fully gutted pumpkin! Social distancing measures will be enforced. For those that want to participate in the fun, but carve their pumpkins from the comfort of their own home, you can purchase a to-go bag (a Bethesda Project tote!) that includes a non-gutted pumpkin, carving stencil, festive swag and a draft beer drink coupon to redeem at a later date.
There is a maximum capacity of 30 people and pre-registration is a requirement. The to-go box must be picked up that evening -- no deliveries -- and must be ordered in advance.
