Bethesda Project Lunch & Learn: Working with Individuals Experiencing Low Vision or Blindness

As we serve those experiencing homelessness, Bethesda Project works to ensure that all guests and residents have access to services and support necessary for their success. This webinar, featuring guests speakers from the Associated Services for the Blind, will introduce services available for those experiencing low vision or blindness through dialogue and scenarios. While the focus is on what volunteers might encounter during their time at Bethesda Project, this cultural competency training can be expanded to other areas in their lives.

RSVP for the webinar here.

Bethesda Project now hosts bi-weekly Lunch and Learn sessions for our volunteers to explore how Bethesda Project incorporates our mission and values in each facet of our organization’s operations. Through this, we seek to provide a space for volunteers to engage with Bethesda Project during the pandemic as well as provide background information to enhance their volunteer experience and create new ways they can further our mission and reach into the community.
