2024 News

On the evening of January 24th, several Bethesda Project staff volunteered their time and participated in the Philly Point in Time (PIT) count. This is a count of all individuals experiencing homelessness; either on the streets, in a shelter, and/or in other temporary unstable housing. The count is done in order to estimate the size of the population in need of housing and supportive services.

Claire, pictured in the photograph on the left with another memember of Bethesda Project staff, was interviewed by KYW Newsradio about her experience as a second-time volunteer.

On May 4th Bethesda Project Our Brothers’ Place welcomed Philadelphia Eagles staff, kicker Jake Elliott, and the Little Caesars Love Kitchen team for an afternoon of pizza and block partying.
