As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, most people take time to consider what they're thankful for and donate some of their time, attention, and resources to those less fortunate. From November 14th-22nd, 2015, we recognized National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week in Philadelphia. While our community is lucky to have organizations such as Philabundance and MANNA to lead the charge on raising awareness of hunger, Bethesda Project took the charge to be the leader in raising awareness of homelessness in Philadelphia during this week. We would like to thank our wonderful partners and sponsors from this week.
Philadelphia Day of Kindness - Oct. 27, 2015
Tuesday, October 27th, has been proclaimed to be "A Day of Kindness" in Philadelphia, as a way to celebrate the Dalai Lama, Pope Francis, and Philadelphia's 333rd birthday!
A day in which Philadelphians, despite our city's reputation, will treat each other with nothing less than caring affection for 24 hours.
This is a perfect opportunity to support Bethesda Project and inspire others to do the same. Bethesda Project is an officlial "Day of Kindness" partner, for more ways you can support and spread kindness visit - www.adayofkindness.org
